The Interior Ray

Intimate Revelations of a Soul in Wonder

Studying for a Doctorate in Seventeeth Century Religious Poetry, I fell in love with a line from Richard Crashaw in his poem To the Name above all Names.

“I sing the Name which none can say
Except touch’t by an interior Ray.”

With the direct revelation of poetic truth, I instantly understood how, when I trusted my Soul, and spoke from my heart, words came through me to touch others.

I now understand this as my Life’s Work.
